Hi,

How can I change the password using pdbedit?

Thanks

You want to change a user's password or you want users to be prompted to change passwords? Please restate the question. Usually one uses smbpasswd to change passwords.

See this manual for info on pdbedut

Please always take the time to backup any and all data before performing any actions suggested for ANY problem, regardless of how minor a change it might seem. Also test the backup to make sure it is intact.

I want to change a user's password and users be prompted to change password.
