PC'z slow login to domain

100 w2k pro pc'z all members of a domain. machines added on one day are working fine but machines added the next day are taking 10+ minutes to log into the domain. and in some instances they never login.

the security event log on all machines are being blistered with 8005 and 8009 BROWSER errors but yet have come up empty troubleshooting in that mind set.

i also have checked the servers and all of them are set to per seat for the license mode. just to cover my bases i added 100 seats.

Are you using Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP? I have ran into these problem where it takes 5 mins to login. If you using AD, then there a group policy you need to enable for your connection to the LAN will speed up. Also check for Microsoft Knowledge base for slow connection.

yep: AS,DNS,DHCP. but if i understan you correctly you are saying that there is a GPO change that needs to be made? for LAN speed? please clarify, thanks.

we actually have had M$ on the phone and they are absolutly clueless. we have sent has to be 10 traces to them in tha last hour and they are still scratching their heads.
