I'm 99.9% sure of this answer, but I've been out of the hardware game for some time now. Will I do anything other than waste my PCI-E slot by using a PCI graphics card? Making a MAME machine, and the only 15khz cards are PCI.

Thanks

GaijinPunch,

I do not think that you can plug a PCI card into a PCI-E slot, different pin configurations.

But you can use a PCI card in any available PCI slot for graphics.

Right -- that's what I meant. Hence, "wasting the PCI-E slot" by not using a PCI-E card. Thins in the computer world change quite a bit in a year or so. Hardware is something I've not had to deal with in quite a while... well, graphics cards parts anyway. :)

Thanks
