How can I fix the problem I am having. My pc causes so much interference that I cannot even have a AM radio on in my garage let alone in the house when the pc is turned on.
Thank You for any help you can give.

You'll have to figure out whether it is power line interference or radio signal interference and whether it is computer or monitor. Capacitors accross the line can help. Ferrite donuts on the power cord can help. Rotating the radio may help. Copper screen over the computer can help. Eliminating interference is an art, not a science. And if a neighbor is having the same problem, you may have to turn off the computer. Ed Fair

Any advice I give is my best judgement based on my interpretation of the facts you supply.

Help increase my knowledge by providing some feedback, good or bad, on any advice I have given.

I agree with edfair's response. Something else to look at: Is your PC plugged into a "grounded" outlet, and are you sure it's really grounded? I know that sounds strange, but sometimes people replace an ungrounded (2 prong) outlet (which generally has no ground unless it's armored cable) with a 3 prong outlet, and think that's all there is to it...not realizing they've gained nothing except the convenience of being able to plug in a 3 pronged plug without an adapter. I don't mean to imply that's what you've done, but someone else could have at some time. Just a thought...I've seen stranger things, believe me...
