Hoping someone can help. My PC keeps crashing, no blue screen, no nothing, just tries to restart but wont boot past OS selection screen. Gets to OS selection and restarts again....Have to power down to beable to restart.

Thought it was CPU over heating so bought a new fan, last time it crashed CPU temp was 49 C..

Any ideas?

Thanks

I hate to ask this but do you have updated anti-virus protection? That would be my first check, secondly I would question the power supply. Try swapping in a known good one. Have you tried going through the boot process step-by-step to see exactly where the reboot is occurring? Hope this helps.

You indicated that you get to the OS selection screen. WHich Operating systemS are you running? Are you using Windows Proprietry OS selection or a third party program???
