PC Admin Software and Firmware for LDK 300 1

Hi,

Currently I using LG ARIA 300 system. How can I know if I am using up to date firmware and software to get more feature from this unit. All information that Ive found as below.

Mainboard AU30P-2.2Fi MAR/04

As you can see from this web page the newest firmware for ipLDK-300 is 3.8Ba.
However your hardware must be able to handle this new software (memory size).
From ver 2.2 to 3.8 you will get many new features, as I will describe in the next post.
To upgrade your ipLDK-300 it is adviceable to contact your local LG-Nortel representative, to let him do the upgrade.
The upgrade can fail, and the LG engineer is skilled in how to rescue a failed system.

The Nexer version 3.7 has also all the new features of the ipLDK-20/50/100/300/600 and iPECS.
Like:
* Mobile Extension (Remote Extension) - use your mobile GSM phone as an extension number w/ all facilities.
* Free Seating or HotDesk.
* Numberlog as a keyset button.
* Conference Room
* New LDP-7000 keyset series.
* New WTIBE and GDC-400B (as described earlier).
* Recording of conversations to .wav files to your laptop through USB.
* IP phones (H.323) to connect to the Nexer. LIP-24 or LIP-70xx.
* IP trunk (H.323).
* SIP IP phones and SIP IP trunk was released in version 3.8.

Nexer (or ipLDK-24) is a smaller PBX than the ipLDK-300, but the described facilities are included in the s/w version 3.8 for ipLDK-300.
All these facilities described is NOT included in s/w 2.2Fi.

Hi doktor,

Thanks very much for detailed clear information. I'll contact them to do it asap because I need conference room feature as I can not configure rightnow.

Mobile extension is an interesting feature I will consider that as well.

Nice to know your status and opinion.

Mobile extension is the hottest feature.
We have really sold many of these!

Conference room is cheaper, as using the public services, because there is not an extra charge.

The firmware of the ipLDK-100 and the administration PC program (LDK PC ADMIN) must match.

So the newest versions are:

When using EZ Attd a lock key or licence is required.

To purchase the lock key you will need to contact your local dealer.
You will need to provide them with the systems software serial number.

This can be found by dialing TRANS/PGM 78 from a digital keyset (with a display)

There is also a DEMO key that can be enabled - this will unlock Ez Attd for the demo period - contact your local dealer
