Is there a way I can look at my system uptime?
I have a remote Option 11. I've been having a regular problem with my voicemail ports going into a MSB LOGOUT state. At which point the main number to the site does not answer.

To fix the problem I have to get an onsite person to reseat the dlc

I'm thinking the problem might be caused by the PBX or Voicemail system rebooting due to the UPS.

Thanks in advance

There is no good way for you to see a history of the Octel ports going in and out of service.

Rather than call for service, try this

Then if they are in Logout, try

I would remove all the (KEY 01 SCR 6910 MARP) on all the PORT's you don't need a SCR on it and someone might be calling it.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Been about 15 years since I worked on Octel.

Print the history in ld 22 and see if there was a sysload.

another point.. make the ncfw for that group a person on site... then at least the main number gets a live person and you know when the last agent logged off.. ncfw is the all agents logged off..
how are your agents logging on?

a work around for octel back in the day was to build the phones as a short hunt instead of acd... i had one stay up for over a year that way... and like ace it;s been 20+ or so since i played octel

mx103,

FYI.

This info. won't help you with your equipment bouncing, but I found our setup quite different. All 12 TN's are in a linear hunt and all FDN to the next one. The lead DN is a DID DN and the others are non-DID DN's. Here's a copy of the first one.
