satman5152:
I am able to change the TAC to 8 and it is pointing to the T1 at the router. However, after I dial '8', I don't see the digits that I dialed on the display as well as the PBX is not sending any number to the Call Accounting Software. If I use '9' with ARS programmed to go to that trunk, I am able to see the digits that I dialed as well as all digits shows up at the CAS.
I am running all 1's as the idle code since it is the default. I am able to make calls and receive calls. I am not able to hear the ring back tone.
The card that I use is the Cisco Voice Card NM-HDV-1T1-24 T1 running 4 wires directly from the Lucent PBX TN767E to the voice card.
This morning I was able to make a call from West Coast to Asia and back to west Coast. I beleive the latency must be about 320ms and the call quality was better than most cell phone.
Following is the sh ver of the 3640.
Have fun!
