PAUSE PROGRAM? - PROBLEM

My apps just ends when all my code is run. I use MS visual c++. Is there a way I can pause the application?

If you haven't/didn't know, try the function key F10 to debug it line by line.

if its a console app, you could also read in a character from the console (cin.get(c), or whatever). if its got a gui interface you could use a messagebox that needs a reply.

ive used both in the middle of code so i could look at a file before something is continued. or so that i could terminate the program right before it crashes.

to run the program, use the button with a red exclamation sign, not the combination "ctrl+F5", nor "F5".... this should cause the program to make a pause at the end and request you to "press a key to continue..."
