Password on pix 515

Hi all,

When my cisco certified consultant came in he never did give me the password to the pix. I go in via telnet with that password. How do I know what the username is. I have the password when I telnet in?

There's no username with Telnet. The default name is "pix" if you use SSH.

If you are able to telnet in, you must have the password, right? If you mean that you can't telnet, because you don't know the password, then you'll need to reset the password to the default according to

Thank you!!! I tried pix and the password. I did telnet in but I want to use the pdm software.

The PDM uses only the enable password. No username required, as I recall, but technically it's "pix".
