Password needed for Access database

Strange things keep happening on my computer with my .mdb files. A couple months ago I tried to get into one of my databases and it started asking for a logon and password. I never did find out what it needed to I uninstalled my office and reinstalled and I was able to access the database. All was well until I recently added some of the vulnerability patches for office that have come out lately. Now Access is asking for a password again. Help I cant get into my database. I ask others to try to open the file and they can. I found a utility out there that is suppose to hack the password for access, but it tells me it is not password protected. Help!!!!!!!! >:-<

Yep, we are seeing the occasional strange quirkiness with some of these security patches being rolled out.
