Does anyone know if you can configure a PIX as an in-line device in a pass-through mode. i.e. 192.168.1.2 /C on the inside interface and 192.168.1.3 /C on the outside, so they're both on the same subnet? The gateway would be 192.168.1.1 on the router connected to the outside interface. I've seen this configuration with firewalls from other manufacturers.

This is not my preferred setup, but looking at the network I'm dealing with, it may make my life a lot easier.

TIA

No, not until pix 7.0 which has bridging mode as a new feature
