Passing to Sub Report

Is possible to give users the option to select multiple values from a main report and pass it to a sub report? What I trying to do is users to selects values on the main report and get more information about the values in the sub report. I appreciate it.

You can put subreports in detail lines or group headers or footers. This is expensive in machine-time - the main report sends just one data selection request to the server, but each single instance of a subreport does its own. But it might be the best solution for you.

You could create the parameter in both the main and subreports and add a record selection formula both to the main and the subreport like:

{table.field} = {?parm}

Then go to edit subreport links and move the {?parm} from the main report to the right, and then in the bottom left, use the dropdown to select {?parm}, NOT the default {?pm-?parm}.

Then the prompt will appear only once.
