Passing parameters 1

Hi, new to Business Objects. Can anyone tell me if its possible to call a pre-defined WebI report from a seperate, bespoke web application using a URL string? If so, is it possible to pass parameters into the report?

We can do this with Crystal, but are looking for an Ad-hoc reporting tool with greater functionality.
