MICS 6.1 with PRI
1) If an Ext. is forwarded to an external number (such as the Ext. owners cell when their out of the office) if a call comes in from the outside directly to the DID assigned to that Ext. then CID is passed through from the originating call. However is call comes in through voicemail to receptionist and is then transferred to that Ext. the call is forwarded to cell phone with the CID of the Ext. not the originating caller.
Is there a way to get the originating CID to pass all the way through?

2) Is there any way to make a call on a PRI with out having to dial an access code?

3) Can anyone recommend software that allows dialing through outlook address book integrated with ones Ext.?

make sure the voicemail exts have caller id turned on
as far as the PRI you can try to set the prime line on an ext to be PRI-A or B rather than intercom but not sure if it works if that doesn't work then you need to build routes and destination codes so the system will know how to send the call without dialing a pool access code.

Ctech thanks for the quick reply.
Calls that come into the receptionist directly before going to voicemail are also having same problem. As to PRI I don’t think your able to use PRI-A,B,or C as a prime line. It’s that time of the day again... I think that you are correct I will have to build some routs.

you cannot prime a pri but you can set up the hotline with 9 external you would have to program that for every set...

As to your third question- that's TAPI. You'll need CTA's for these to connect to their PC's, but it's been so long since I've messed with that, I wouldn't want to give you the wrong details.

Once the call is answered (by either AA or a set), the originating CLID will never pass out a trunk (unless MCDN is active to another BCM, CS1K or Norstar) when transferred.

Sorry.. Actually trying to get Nortel to allow a set forwarded call to strip the originating CLID and send out it's own CLID.. Of course, this was all talked about in another thread about Flex products..
