Need to send a customer service call from a basic VDN/VEC auto attendent to a call center via (route to) a toll free number and I need to pass the callers ID/ANI, not My PBX INFO, Anyone know a simple way.. VER7 G3, Vectoring and call center basic..

Make sure you have VDN over ride turned off on the VDN page this should work.

That's strange since I have the exact opposite problem. I have a hotel with a reservations number that is passsed on to a 3rd party call center. They want the hotels number to display not the callers. No amount of tweaking on the Avaya has enabled me to do this, the originating caller ID gets passed every time. I have been trying to get the CO to suppress caller id on this line (a 1-800 terminating to a DID) on the assumption the Avaya will then pass its calling line Id on instead.

I just cut over a national call center for Verizon where they have 1-800 access numbers. Call routing was to take place based on the callers NPA. This did not work and the terminating did's id showed instead. They made a change to the software in the Central Office to fix it. This makes me think it is all dependent on the Central Office.
