Partnerships with Ipaq

When I originall set up my IPAQ 3780 I said I only wanted to synchronize with one computer. Now I want to synchronize with an additional compuiter,but it won't connect to the second computer, I've tried removing and re-installing the ActiveSync software (the new version 3.6), running the IPAQ's battery down 'till it lost all data and had to be restarted fresh, etc. But i still can't make the second connection and nothing in Actve Sync allows me to delete the old partnership.
Any suggestions?
I'm running XP Home on one computer and XP Pro on the second one.
