I have a client who currently has an Avaya Partner systems with nominally 16 co lines currently provisioned as standard POTS lines. They're bringing FIOS into the building and so will be changing the provisioning on these lines to FIOS.

My understanding is that they'll still terminate as POTS lines but a Verizon rep is asking us to make sure the phone system is compatible with the "lower voltage of the FIOS lines."

Has anyone had any experience with this?

I've had a Partner ACS and FiOS service here @ home for a few years now. Works perfectly fine! [thumbsup2]

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

let us know if Fios can do 16 lines.

The quantity of lines available on Fios has to do with the Premise Equipment provided by Verizon.
