Can you program a phone the copy the button mapping or do I have to do them all???

Here's what I found in the Partner ACS's Installation & Programming Documentation:

Copy Settings (#399)

Set up your system by programming one extension for each type of telephone in the system.

Then use Copy Settings (#399) to program other telephones of the same type.

For example, you can program one PARTNER-18D telephone and then copy its settings to any other extensions that
have PARTNER-18D or PARTNER-18 telephones.

Use this feature to copy all of the following settings from one extension to another:

? Pooled extension settings can be copied to key extensions, except for extension 10. Key

However, if you want to fiddle with the Remote Access programming GUI, you can copy from and to any extension other than 10 and 11, including the buttons.

Personally, I set up one extension with the common features that will be copied across, and do the buttons manually through Centralized Telephone Programming - it won't take more than 5 or 10 minutes to do an entire system once you get a rythmn going.
