NO, not supported. The closest I could come to this feature is to transfer the caller into a conference meet-me and have the user at site B join them. Its seamless to the caller. Thats the best I can do for ya. The only issue is they will not hear music on hold while waiting. Not a big deal in my eyes.
As I got into programming the systems, I started to get that impression. Hmm.. I will have to try this out.
We are trying to have a receptionist/operator at store A handle all incoming calls. The problem is that our staff is used to being paged when they have a call and they will pick it up from on hold or park position. I need to come up with a way for her to take calls from store B and then get them back to the appropriate party/department back at store B.
Just Make the conference meet-me at site A, for example 601, transfer the caller to 601 where they will be waiting, Page or call the user at site B and tell them the caller is waiting at 601. The user then just dials 601 and walaaa, they are connected together. I dont think you could make it any more simple than that. You would have to set up a short code at site B with 601 with "dial" feature with the IP line Id to site A. Site A you would have to set up 601 as Shortcode and feature would be Conference meet me. Done...
Short codes for ride call would also work. Have the Rec park the call at site A on button say, Park 101. System A Shortcode:*101 - Ride call 101. Site B short Code *101, Dial *101 Line (SCN Group). This will leave the call at site A so that the Rec is alerted if nobody picks it up, but lets site B get the call.
