Parameter Fields value keeping

Each report run is exclusive to the last, so previous values aren't retained - unless you handle that in your own custom front end.
The best way around this would be to give each parameter a default value which reflects the most common selection. Add a picklist to each parameter to take care of the rest of the possible values, so you just use the drop down to select, rather than re-type your stuff in on each refresh.

My DataLink Viewer remembers the values (single as well as multi-values) selected last time for each dynamic parameter.
I do this by simply storing these values in an ini file.
You can do something similar by creating your own viewer
and checking the type of the parameter (single, multi, or range). You also need to check for the data type.
