At the moment my paragraph palette left indents, right indents etc in increments of 1mm. Is there any way of reducing the increment to 0.1mm?

Paragraph indents etc - can increments be made smaller? 1

Don' think there's any way to, by default, use tenths of a mm when using the scrolling arrows..
You can type that value into the indent box to get what you want. If you intend to use a certain indent on any regular basis, you can make a paragraph style with that indent and save that for future use.
