One stations light will not shut off even after messages are heard, Anyone got a clue why?

could be a message lamp turned on by another extension, press message key with handset down and see what is displayed

OK will try it. if it is from another extension how do i clear it?

Transfer key should clear it

OK so it said Extension 101 while on hook, I should hit the message key see ex- 101 then... hit transfer and it will let go of the light. Right? Thanks Eddie

I'm sorry Its a TVS 50 Not a TVA 50 does that make a difference i am heading there today, I guess I will find out.

OK I figured it out,,,, I hit intercom then message key, that rang the operator. she picked up and the light went out. end of mission thanks obsystems.

that works too..... dial 700# will also clear message lamp
