Panasonic features on an IPO

Is it possible to achieve the following Panasonic KXTAW and KXTDA functionality on an IP Office:

1. All Page *WITH* Page Answer. I know the All Page can be done, but is it possible for someone to pick up a handset and press the Panasonic equivalence of "Page Answer" to have a private intercom call.

2. Live Call Screening. It's possible with Panasonic to hear a person as they are leaving a voicemail message and then "take" the call. Similar to screening calls with an answering machine.

3. Whisper Intercom. If you are on a call, someone internal can dial your extension and then speak with you without the caller at the far end hearing your conversation (the far end caller does not even know you are having a side-conversation).

For the "Whisper Intercom" feature you asked for, you can set a short code with the feature "Dial Inclusion".

1. When you hear a page call over the phones, you can go to any phone that is in that page group and lift the handset, press the conf. button and then the page call is torn down to just you and the person who made the page call.

I have spoken too soon on that. My thought was the use of two features. LISTEN, and STEAL, or AQUIRE.

The reality is they do not work except when in an active call to an ext., and not to VM. I had never had that request yet, so I did not realize the features restrictions. Further research where I RTM taught me my error.

Whisper doesn't work on IPO. dIAL INCLUSION ONLY PUTS THE EXISTING CALL ON HOLD AND JOINS THE INTRUDER TO THE USE. iT'S CRAP, DON'T USE IT. sorry about the caps didn't mean it.

I haven't tried setting up a vmpro mod in a while but as I recall it didn't give the results I was looking for.

Number 2 is not doable is what I meant. You can not listen to them leave a VM, and live screen the call prior to pulling them out of VM.

And i think a lot will agree that if they want panasonic features they should take a panasonic (or stay with)

And yes a panasonic does have some nice features
But i think there are some people who know how to upgrade an old 1232

Whisper works fine on IPO, check the VM Programming examples if you are havig problems.
