Does anybody has the experience on the Panasonic keyphone E1 setting to integrate with AVAYA DS1 E1 card.

chongkf,

it depends on panasonic model. kx-td1232 and similar are known to have problems with ringback tone generation. you'd need to play with settings a bit to achieve needed results.
basically, you need to use the following ds1 settings:
bit rate: 2.048
line coding: hdb3
idle code: leave it default
signaling mode: isdn-pri
connect: line-side
country protocol: etsi
protocol version: a or b
crc: no

signaling group and trunk group settings are usual.

I manage to get it work, but the voice quality is not so clear, any setting that i need to look into it?

chongkf,

i guess it's because of sync problems. tell the panasonic unit to get its clock from e1, this should resolve the problem -- provided that your definity has its sync source okay, that is.
also it wouldn't hurt to turn on slip detection on this trunk, just to see whether the problem indeed lies in sync.
