Hi all

Just a quick odd request...... I would like to save a PowerPoint presentation to a DVD to play on a standard DVD player..... Firstly is this possible, secondly what format would I need to save the presentation in and thirdly would it be possible to advance through the slides using the standard remote control.....

Hope some one can help me

Cheers

Paul

Hi Paul,

If you mean so that you can watch it on TV, then no, that's not possible. Your TV's DVD player wouldn't recognise a powerpoint file.

Some DVD players will let you watch a slide-show of jpg files, though, and you could convert your powerpoint presentations to that. You'll lose any animations etc.

Alternatively, there is software available for converting powerpoint presentations to movie fiels that DVD players can play back.

Cheers
