paging

I'm trying to setup paging.
406, 3.2
got a upam and amp connected to trunk port
followed

mostly works, problem is that there are 2 tones that sound like dialing and I can't make them go away. It's not the preannounce or confirmation tone.

ideas?

read one thing I can't find again about the telephone number having or not having the . is this my problem? I have it.

What type of short code are you using. Dial paging may be it. Try making it just dial.

using just dial.

Mine looks just like page 8 of the above linked doc.

removed the "." from the number line and it now works as expected.

problem solved.
