Paging

I have 2 option 11c's with sepearate bogen paging systems. I can't page from one location to the other. The systems are connected with t1's and I am using coordinated dialing.When I dial the page access code from one location to the other the page trink will not go of hook. Any suggestions?

what do you get when you dial the page acod from the remote site. in the remote site trac the call to see what your hitting and post the paging route from the remote switch..

I will do that today. but I beleieve I am hitting the page trunk at the remote end.

I have this working in anetwork with three nodes. Look at Call Page-Network wide in the networking NTP, or if you don't have that NTP I can post the code.

if your hitting the trunk (paging) then the trouble would be anaswer supervision.. because the trunk is not giveing anaswer supervision to the far end your not going to complete the call.. i would try building a maxp 1 acd, ncfw that to page acod and call that from the remote switch..

i don't use pagign trunks, i use wat trunks for paging, that lets me use the tfd timer to drop pages longer the 2 minutes and keeps the paging system from hanging. it also give me a asup prompt that returns answer supervision
