Feature description
500/2500 Line Disconnect
500/2500 Line Disconnect is invoked when the system detects
on-hook/disconnect supervision from a party connected to an analog
(500/2500-type) port. Dial tone is sent to this port for a specified period
of time (the default is six seconds) which is defined in LD 15 at the Line
Disconnect Tone Timer (LDTT) prompt.
It is used when the analog (500/2500-type) port is connected to an
automated attendant or voice mail. It allows the system to know that it is
not connected to a telephone, and to disconnect if the other telephone
has hung up (for example, during an automated message or a voice mail
message).
