Hi there, I have a cs1000 that is built inside an opt 11c cabinet. I have a page port built on a trunk card. My problem is when you go offhook on any ip phone dial acod you speak and hear a delay in your ear. It is however delivered realtime to the speaker in room. Any suggestions?

almost impossible to stop that.. your going ip to tdm to old hardcore analog.. i usually tell my customer that the delay is free.. i've never talked to anyone that has found a way to block the rec side of that handset without a press to talk handset..

old press to talk is one way, so when you press to transmit, the rec side is open

Turn the handset upside down so you are talking into the microphone and cannot hear the paging through the ear piece .... works every time ...!

A Viking FBI-1A digital feedback eliminator will always work to stop speaker to handset feedback.
Dial your paging code, wait for beep, start talking, then hangup. 4 seconds later, your page is played to the amp.
