System is a CM 5.2.1 -
currently have overhead paging in use through the standard Paging Loudspeaker. Attempting to add a TAC for Code Calling and establish 1 ID for Code Calling to sound a tone every night at 8:30.
I've input the TAC, and when it is dialed, it returns dial tone to enter the extension, that corresponds with 222 which will play 2 tones, pause, 2 tones, pause, 2 tones, and quit.
We are getting a denial event of 1053 Chime Tone Connection. and the tones do not play.
It has been suggested that a tone board might be needed? I highly doubt this, as none of the Implementation manuals refer to any additional hardware being needed. I have done this other places, but not on the 5.1.2 software, nor with IPSI/MedPro configuration. Thoughts?
List trace shows the following:
Dial 2751
Seize trunk-group 0 member 0 cid 0x2a95
active trun-group 0 member 0 cid 0x2a95
denial event 1053: Chime tone connection D1=0x20003 D2=0x2a95
I'm not concerned about the trunk group 0, since this I assume makes it so that calls can't be transferred/conferenced to the paging, and I get the same trunk-group when dialing 2750, the same action when I do a loudspeaker/voice page, it goes out on trunk-group 0, member 0.
