Pagermaker 7 Printing

I have a user that when she tries to print to Pagemaker 7.0 the software spools the job and sends it to the local printer, but the job never reaches the printer itself. I have watch the print job go through the que to the local printer, but data is never received at the printer. I can print through any number of programs to the printer except Pagermaker.

I have had that problem a long time ago. The problem was a graphic that I had placed into the file. When I removed the graphic, the file printed.

The graphic I had pasted was an EPS. Originally I used File> Place. But somewhere along the way, the graphic got repasted in the document without the benefit of using File> Place. I think it happened when I created a new master page, the graphic being a folio marker at the bottom of the page next to the page number.

Now when I use tiffs or Eps files, I always File> Place each and every time I insert a graphic!

Check out the document for bad links, and you may find the reason the file won't print.
