Page stops loading before end of file

Hi there,

I have a very odd problem. I'm running tomcat 4.1.

I have a jsp page that happens to display a calendar. It's works pretty good, but when I try to do a little more and display events on the calendar from a database the page only about half loads, it just stops mid String. There's no error message. I've done lots of database stuff before and this is quite simple, I can't see anything wrong with it.

What would cause tomcat to just abort loading a page like this?

I found my problem, I think I was trying to get LinkedList elements that weren't there, but why didn't tomcat throw an error? That would have saved me hours.
