Hi there...

I tried to use the built-in user authentication strategy that comes with Ultradev, but whenever I try it out it always lets me right in?

What gives? I have a page, default.htm, that has the restrict access to page behavior implanted in it. If the access level is not ADMINISTRATOR, then it goes to login.asp. I've tried everything, and it always lets me straight in.

Thanks!

Ryan

So you have the page default protected by the login.asp? If that's the case, just try and use the upper most option for authenticating to start with. Scratch your current page and try this with a blank canvas (always a good idea, you never know what UD leaves behind!). Try this and see if you can get into the page with your username and password that you use in the login user behaviour. If this works (you do have an access denied page, right?) then assign an access level matching the level assigned in the database and see if that works.
One step at a time.

Let us know if that works.

Have fun!
