Page file in win2k server

Hi,

How is page file handle in win2k? in winnt 4.0 server I created a different partition and used that as my page file. I've 1 gb of ram so I created a 3 gb another partion and used that as my page file. Is win2k server the same?

you are free to setup pagefiles on different volumes.
If you remove the pagefile on the system drive, you have better performance (maybe) but you lose the full-dump possibility if/when it bluescreens

Thank you, Can I setup pagefiles on the extended partion or only on primary partion?

You should be able to on any partion, regardless. As long it shows as a different drive in Windows
