I'm still figuring out my way round CF and having some difficulty with bookmarking within a page.

In html, I would use h ref#XXXXX with A name XXXX but with CF I am using dynamic fields e.g. #record_number#

My question is how do I integrate the two syntax so that I can link #record_number# at the top of the page with the associated data lower down the page?

Any assistance welcomed

Thanks

You can escape the compound sign for anchors (that's the correct name for &quot;bookmarks&quot; within pages ;) ) by typing two anchors (for example: <a href=&quot;##top&quot;>). This is only necessary if the anchor is in between CFOUTPUT tags. Hope this helps. <webguru>iqof188</webguru>

I need the same logic. I tried the suggestion but didn't work. Any insights?
