I have distributed application through PDW . It's been working fine on client machine. I have made few changes and add new forms and reports to original application. I want to include those changes in application. Can i update this changes with out PDW again ??

Thanks
Ann

You can. However, having said that, if you have used additional OCX's that were not registered on the client machine from the first PDW, or say, updated your MDAC from one version to another and it's not available on the client, you must update the client machine either through another PDW or manually.

Best to save the original .exe before the update so you can restore the original working copy if something goes wrong...

As long as you didn't add any new ActiveX control references or DLLs to the program, you can re-compile the project into an EXE then copy the new EXE into the "Support" sub-directory of the directory that was created for your project by the PDW when you first ran it.

After you've copied the EXE file over, find the .BAT file in the support directory that has the same name as your project. Run this BAT file and it will recompress the files with your new EXE and replace the CAB file with the updated one in your PDW directory.
