I'm running MIMS on HP 9000s with Microfocus Cobol. I currently have one system that is generating PA RISC 1 executables and another that is generating PA RISC 2s. I can't seem to find the compiler flag or configuration file that is making these compile differently.

Where is the compiler for this?

Thanks

The C compilier that comes with HP-UX has serveral options on the type of executables you can generate (I am assuming you are trying to compile Mincom TP). The option is '+DA' where you can specify the target risc architecture for example add '+DA2.0' to generate Risc 2 executables or use '+DAportable' to generate executables that will run on both platforms. See 'man cc' for more details. Risc architectures do not have an effect on MicroFocus Cobol as the binaries generated from this compilier are subject to interpretation from the MicroFocus Cobol runtime.
