I just got done doing this. I have Exchange 5.5 SP4 running on a win2k server. It is recommended that you setup OWA on another server and not your Exchanger server. So, i put OWA on a win2k server with IIS 5.0 installed. You need an IIS server for OWA to work. After installing OWA and SP4 on the IIS server, make sure you have port 80 open in your firewall so that your users can get in from the internet. The setup of OWA on the IIS server is very simple. It asks for the name of your Exchange server and automaitcaly puts the info needed into your default web page on IIS.
I got all of my info from Microsofts KB when i did a search for OWA. You will have to setup some details like how you want your users to authenticate to OWA and your firewall and router setup. I am using a Cisco 1605 router with IOS firewall capability.
Once you have everything installed and setup, to get to it form within your network, just type the IIS servers name or IP/exchange/logon.asp in you Internet browser and you should get the OWA main logon page.
