We are in the midst of migrating from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007. Everything has gone fine except that OWA only works from within our organization. When we go to access the site remotely (ie from home, etc.) we get the Page will not display error. We were told by the person managing
our migration that OWA will not be remotely available until SP1. Can this possibly be true.

Thanks.

Complete crap - works fine for me without SP1.

It could be due to SSL issues, (see my FAQ on it in this forum) but otherwise it's a case of opening up port 443 on the firewall and point it to your CAS.

Ditto. No SP1 and OWA works fine from the outside. Agree with Steve on both points on how to troubleshoot. You can also try accessing it via public IP Address if you have that info, just to rule out DNS issues. Also make sure you are using https://

Thanks guys.

SP1 adds a few things to OWA, but, as others have mentioned, it works fine pre-SP1. In SP1, you get Public Folder support, for one.

Yeah, we can't wait for the public folder access in OWA.
