For some unexplained reason OWA doesn't work correctly anymore.
Now what I mean is that if i type in mail.mydomain.com externally, I get a cannot fond page. If I tuype it in Internally I get the login prompts but then the page is denied.
But I know the serveice is working, sort of, because If I simply type in mail Server> it brings up the page as if nothing has changed.

Hello, this looks like an IIS Problem.
First check internal with the mail.mydomain.com servername.
If this is not working check in the IIS and exchange manager the the Virtual Server.
If this is only for a view Mailboxes and they have not only one E-Mail Address goto Drive M and check the displaying name with the Mailbox name.
For Example if you have the primary E-Mail somone@some.com and secondary hostmaster@some.com it is possible that the display is someone or hostmaster or systemadminstrator.
For this you have to type

Typing in mail.mydomain.com internally brings up the loin page but i get directed to which states that:
You do not currently have a default document set for your users. Any users attempting to connect to this site are currently receiving an "Under Construction page".

But this was all working only 2 days ago.

ok, what authentication is used by the IIS and in the Exchange Manager ?

If you use a self implemented login site perhaps the default ducument is not right. You also can implemet a self redirct on the IIS by doing the following.

Just try this in the IIS configuration.
goto the vitual server
-> properties,
Click the "Home Directory" tab,
-> select a redirection to a url and and type also
-> select a directory below this one (very imporant, so you never will go in a loop).

The bad thing is now you have to authenticate also in the local net unless you define mail.myserver.com as trusted site in the Internet Explorer because the "." in the site IE will not use SSPI.

The Web Site "Home Directory" uses Anonymous
Exchweb uses Anonymous
Exchange uses Basic
Exchadmin uses Basic and Intergrated
OWA uses Anonymous

making the changes to redirect to the URL didn't change anything

another question, how many fields are displayed in the loginprompt ?
only username and pass or
username/pass/domain

if i type in "OWA" and login (which works) no domain
mail.mydomain.com, all 3

seems to be only an IIS problem.
check this permissions also in the Exchange Manager by
protocols -> HTTP-> Virtual Exchange
Fore this time i'm out of knowledge.
Maybe i have some suggestions until next week (my local time is now 11:30 pm, i will connect you next week again)

good luck

Ok so I've got to this point.

In IIS I have 2 web sites running.
The Default Web Site, which contains all the exchange information. If I highlight it and select Browse I can logon correctly.
The other one is called OWA and it has the header of mail.mydomain.com
and it is supposedly redirected to This is the page that isn't working correctly.
