OWA not displaying - Certificate problems

Hello,

I am trying to get OWA up and running on my exchange 2003 server. I have opened the neccessary ports on my firewall and tested via telnet etc to ensure I can get into my mail server. I then ran through the processes listed in this article

As I wanted to publish mu own certificate. I followed everything as pointed out, but when I try to access I get a message saying that there is a problem with the websites security. When I choose to proceed I get the unable to display page. This is the same internally and externally. I have not changed any default settings etc on IIS. Does anyone know how I can troubleshoot this? What else do I need to look at etc.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

I suspect that you certificate CN does not match the A record you have setup for your OWA site.

ie: if you are using the URL owa.mysite.com, the cert CN must match that owa.mysite.com URL.
