I have a user running IE 6 all patched up. OS is Windows XP Pro. He gets into OWA when right clicking a folder he doesn't get the option to create a new folder. But this only happen at the remote location he is working from now. At his office it works and from home it works. Anybody run into this before?

Thanks,

Aaron

Is he using the Premium or Basic view?

I think that option is only available in Premium.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Mark,

I'm unsure which. The Exchange is Enterprise 2003. I can add a new folder logged in as him. At home he can do it but at a remote plant on the same laptop he cannot. How do I know if it's premium or basic view? If it helps it's the newer OWA with the Outlook 2003 interface.

Thanks in advance,

Aaron

Based on bandwidth you can get two different views. When logging on from a broadband connection you get the option to choose basic view which strips down the graphics a little and removes right click capabilities and I believe also removes the preview pane.

When connected on a slow connection, the low bandwidth is detected and the functionality is automatically throttled down.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Thanks Mark,

I will look into it. But he does get all otions when right clicking except new folder. I do believe he has the preview pane as well but I will have to double check that.

Thanks,

Aaron
