I read an article on the security concern over OWA
not clearing downloaded attachment cache
and found 2 products
but both VERY expensive around $10,000
that are cpu based and run server based.

messageware AttachView
and
Everywherenetworks SecureView
are
there others or a "cheaper way" of clearing downloaded cache and/or logon credentials ??
thanks

In IIS for your FE, you can set page to expire and select immediately.

You can also get ISA 2004 server, which I think has these types of protections, such as page expiring

what about clearing cache(downloaded documents)
that is the main issue ??

Attachview doesn't actually clear the cache as such. It renders the attachment as a secure web page so it isn't cached.

Or that was the way they explained it to me in a webinar.

We are also still unsure what to go for.

how about this ???
1. Open Internet Explorer, choosing "Tools" - "Internet Options".
2. From the multi-tabbed dialog box that follows, click "Advanced".
3. Scroll down to "Security".
4. Check "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed".
5. Press "OK" to close the dialog box.

I tried it in IE and worked like a champ
possibly a GPO can assist ??

your thoughts anyone ???
