I was hoping that someone coud help with an issue I am having with OWA after an E2K upgrade.

I used to have 5.5 on one server and IIS on another pointing to the 5.5 server and it all worked well. I have since upgraded to E2K and am having some difficulty setting up OWA again. I want the same configuration; IIS serving my clients on the Internet and it (IIS) pointing to the IS on the new E2K box. I am VERY new to E2K and was wondering if the install is the same as in 5.5. I tried to load jut the OWA portion of E2K but could not find that option. What am I missing? TIA

IIS, SMTP and NNTP have to be installed on the system you are installing Exchange 2000 on.

Sorry, you can't split OWA off an exchange server.
Also you can't install exchange 2000 without OWA.
As I understand it you will need another Exchange server.

so it is the opposite of what they recommended in 5.5 where you would have a seperate IIS server pointing to the exchange server?

That kinda sux. I already had an OWA solution that fit my small business fine my users are used to it. Now I find that i need a E2K enterprise to have front end-backend servers so as to keep a server in the DMZ? I dont like putting my exchange box out there with IIS :(
