Im trying to assign a new OVLA to PW10 but Im having difficulties. I know that I need to get to the OVLA prompt but im unsuscessful in LD 17. Any ideas? I get this far but dont know what to do from here.
LD 17
REQ chg
TYPE pwd
PWD2
LNAME_OPTION

NPW1

You should just hit enter until you get the LOGIN_NAME prompt.

Code:
REQ CHG
TYPE PWD
PWD2
LNAME_OPTION <cr>
NPW1 <cr>
NPW2 <cr>
LOUT <cr>
LOGIN_NAME PW10 <-- name goes here!
LEVL <cr>
OVLA xx xx xx <-- New Overlays
...

Hope this helps,

Scott M.

Ok I tried what you said and I am still having problems.

TYPE PWD
PWD2
LNAME_OPTION <CR>
NPW1 <CR>
LOGIN_NAME <CR>
NPW2 <CR>
LOGIN_NAME If I enter PW10 here it changes my NPW2 user login. If I <CR> I get the LAPW prompt...
LAPW
FLTH
LOCK

Sorry, I missed a step. There is a number associated with your PW10, and you can get that by printing the PWD data in LD 22. Enter that number at the LAPW prompt, and the rest is a go.

Sorry again,

Scott M.

i usually out the pwd and then enter my ovly, use 10 not pw10 for the change
