I have a remote switch that is having issues with E911 and don’t have a Local Company techs in this area to visit the PBX with test equipment to monitor a PRI and digits out pulsed.
I have non did numbers in the switch with CLID entries to out pulse a valid DID number for calling number (executive suites scenario). I know the proper CLID is being out pulsed for caller ID purposes as we can see the correct number on caller id.

The question is for 911 calls. I know only basics regarding INTRADO). The problem is our Routing group and CO in Miami can not seem to get the E911 system to populate with the PBX address from information sent from this Option 11 (4 digit DNIS to the CO, DID’s loaded in INTRADO I am told). Calls go out a TYPE 2 PRI thru Bell South to our CO (5ESS). I need a sanity check as to what should be seen coming from the PBX going to INTRADO, the actual PBX number making the call or the out pulsed CLID, before I make too many enemies at the E911 group.

In most cases that i have seen from previous posts and from what I had at an office with a remote shelf is that you need to have a pots line or two (depending on remote location size) on site for 911 calls to route out of. If i am correct you have TIE lines between the remote and the main office. Calls leaving the remote dont actually route out from there, they go out the TIE lines to the main branch and route out from there. correct?

your 911 calls would not display the correct location because of this.

Now I did have a larger site that had E911 and when a line was not displaying the proper location is was because someone (sometimes me but mostly the non phone guy i used to work with...) forgot to update the customer managed E911 database.
This is just from what i have experienced

wow i guess i should have read the post twice. my bad for jumping the gun.

I may not have been clear enough that this is a stand alone option 11.
We use the solution you suggested at several actual remotes, it is the only way to get accurate 911 info to INTRADO. I do appreciate the response thank you.
