Hi,
After a system failure i had to start all over again with "format c:\", installing the OS (XP professional) and installing Office XP professional.
After installing, i activated both the OS and Office, and made my e-mail account.
After that i restored a backup of my e-mails (the file outlook.pst). After this restore, outlook does not want to run anymore. It gives a message box "Microsoft Outlook is niet voor de huidige gebruiker geinstalleerd. Voer Setup uit om de toepassing te installeren", in English this must be something like "Outlook is not installed for the current user. Run setup to install the application". I have tried the Office restore option, deinstall outlook and install it again. I even restored the outlook.pst which existed before i restored the one with e-mails. None of this has changed outlook's mind.
Does anybody know how to solve this and get outlook running again (with my e-mails)?
Marcel
