Outlook XP Reminders Problem

My company is upgrading from Outlook 98 to Outlook XP. When users are migrated they get their reminder pop-ups for a little while and then they stop popping up. Microsoft suggests to open outlook with the /cleanreminders switch, but that doesn't work. If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

I though this solution was good to, until I tried it, yet the reminders were still now working. Try going to a dos prompt, cd to c:program files\microsoft office\office10 and running the /resetfolders switch. This should work.
