For some reason, when I attempt to use the send/receive button, I get a message "The Operation Failed". My e-mail service has been working just fine up until this point. I use rr's cable service and their servers show to be operating correctly. Any ideas or if you need more info, let me know.

Outlook, yes?
Are you using PcCillin?
Are the SMTP and POP servers correct?

Mine did this once. Retype the password again.

Women are like computers, you have to press a button to turn them on.

My Outlook from Office XP running WindowsXP pro OS, did the same thing. I have tried the repair, tried uninstalling, reinstalling, still no luck, I continue to get the "operation failed" whenever I try to send/receive.

Has anyone got any ideas, the problem has nothing to do with passwords, smtp, pop servers names or otherwise, I've double checked them all.

Desparate to get this thing working.

I have had email issues lately as well with the mail checking until it times out on the POP3 server. (Outlook Express 6) This has occured only since installing Norton Internet Securities. Somewhere there is an file size issue that I have been unable to find in the program. It's not in Outlook Express. I can go into my mail on the server and delete a large mail then my mail will come in with no problem. Has anyone else experienced this with Norton Internet Securities?
